White Oak Plantation is one of the most famous hunting plantations in the country. The quality of the hunting, the property, the amenities, and the location are all reasons for its unparalleled success over the past twenty five years.

Size & Location

1,270 +/- acres located Macon County just southwest of Auburn. The property is a short drive from I-85 and is 45 minutes from Montgomery, 2 hours from Birmingham, and less than 2 hours from Atlanta, GA.

Land & Water

This a diverse piece of property with planted pines, hardwood bottoms, and open land. There is over 10 miles of excellent roads throughout the property. This property has been highly developed and managed as a commercial hunting preserve. Although primarily managed for deer and turkey hunting there are areas set up for preserve quail hunting.   

The following acreage breakdown is an estimate and the purchaser should verify it to their satisfaction.

There are two stocked lakes one is a  10+- acre lake and the other is a 5+- acre lake. 180+- acres in hay fields and wildlife food plots; 385+- acres in planted pines from 12 to 22 years old; 165+- acres in 19 year old hardwood and approximately 485 acres under a timber contract to be clear-cut by December 2012.

Structures

All structures come furnished with a the exception of a few personal items.  Electricity is provided by Tuskegee Light and Power, water is provided by the Macon County water authority and by a well located on the property.
The lodges were built in three phases with the last being completed in 2000. With the completion of the last phase, all three lodges are under one roof and connected by decks or porches. Phase 1: Originally built in 1984, renovated in 1986, and again completely renovated in 1997. Phase 1 lodge has two bedrooms and three baths. It has a large open dining room, commercial kitchen, and laundry room. It also has a large deck made of Cypress bat and board siding, and metal roof. Phase II: Originally built in 1987. This section has four (4) bedrooms and four (4) baths, large hall, meeting/conference room. Phase III: Completed in 2000 this portion of the lodge was built with true entertainment in mind. The main room or Trophy Room has oak flooring, stone fireplace, and 24 feet vaulted oak ceilings. The balance of the lodge consist of two (2) bedrooms and two and a half (2 1/2) baths, laundry room, and a wet bar.

Additional Information

Manager’s House: House was enlarged and renovated in 1997. It consist of three bedrooms and two baths, kitchen, dining room, and living room. The second floor is a large open room and office. Main Office: This was constructed in 1997 has two large separate offices, a large open area serving as an office/reception area, storeroom and 1/2 bath. There are also two bedrooms and two baths.

Equipment barn and shop, pavilion, horse barn, and 1989 double wide mobile home (56 x 24) also included with property.
